STRATA was born in a working roastery and built to solve the real problems specialty coffee roasters face every single day.
Our story
STRATA started the way most good tools do, out of frustration. We were running a specialty coffee roastery and drowning in spreadsheets. One for orders, another for inventory, a third for roast logs, and a pile of sticky notes holding it all together.
Every week we burned hours on manual data entry, reconciling numbers that never quite matched, and guessing at margins because the data lived in too many places. We looked for software that understood our workflow, and found nothing built for how roasters actually work.
So we built it ourselves. What started as an internal tool to manage our own roastery became STRATA: a unified platform that handles roasting, orders, inventory, cost tracking, and analytics in one place. Every feature exists because we needed it first.
Today, STRATA is used by specialty roasters who want to spend less time on spreadsheets and more time on what they do best, roasting exceptional coffee.
